Why butter aluminum foil is needed

Butter aluminum foilblocks oxygen, moisture, and light, effectively preventing butter from oxidizing and spoiling, preserving nutrients, and significantly extending its shelf life. High-end products can see their shelf life extended by two to three months when packaged in aluminum foil. Aluminum foil's excellent flexibility allows it to conform to various shapes of butter blocks, and its heat-sealability facilitates packaging and allows for easy access to the butter.

          Its performance

Butter aluminum foil has excellent corrosion resistance. Furthermore, it must withstand external forces such as compression and impact during storage and transportation, thus possessing sufficient mechanical strength.

The thickness and alloy composition of the aluminum foil influence its strength, and appropriate standards must be determined based on the specific scenario. Long-distance transportation of butter requires stronger aluminum foil packaging.

          Butter aluminum foil structure

Butter foil packaging is a composite structure. The aluminum foil layer, with a thickness ranging from 6 to 20 μm, is crucial for barrier performance. The bonding layer uses a special adhesive to firmly bond the layers together and is crucial to the stability of the composite structure.

The toughening protective layer utilizes a polymer material to increase the packaging's toughness and protect the aluminum foil. The grease-resistant layer, located on the butter-contacting side, is made from a special plastic film or treated paper to prevent grease penetration. If printing is required, additional layers such as an ink layer are also included.

          Aluminum foil food specification

The thickness of the aluminum foil layer for butter foil typically ranges from 6-20μm, with thicknesses of 6-10μm being suitable for cost-sensitive butter products with short shelf lives. Roll widths typically range from 280-1400mm, with widths of 280-600mm suitable for small retail butter packaging and 600-1400mm for large or industrial packaging. Sheet size is designed based on the weight and shape of the butter. Small butter blocks typically use 8-15cm x 5-10cm, while large blocks typically use 15-30cm x 10-20cm.

          Types

Plain aluminum foil: It offers high cost-effectiveness and practicality, and is widely used in the mid- and low-end markets.

Color printed aluminum foil: printed with brand logos, exquisite graphics, and product information, it enhances visual appeal and recognition, meeting the mid- and high-end market's demand for brand differentiation and quality.
