Compared with AA1235 alloy, 8089 aluminumhas higher Fe and Si content, and has higher mechanical properties when used to produce aluminum foil blanks.When rolling, a higher rolling speed can be used without breaking the strip, and the production efficiency of 8079 aluminum foil can be improved.

The the Fe/Si ratio of 1235 aluminium foil packaging for food is between 2.5 and 4.0, but increasing the content of Fe and Si is conducive to refining grains, improving surface quality, and improving rolling performance. The compounds in the aluminum foil blank are mainly α (FeSiAl), β (FeSiAl), and FeAl3 phases. Among them, α(FeSiAl) is an ideal as-cast compound.
